PAGA | Office and Fundraising Assistant

Job Summary:

The Office and Fundraising Assistant will be responsible for a variety of roles focusing on fundraising, social media, administrative and other tasks that provide support to PAGA.

 


Responsibilities:

Fundraising:

  • Manages stakeholder database, donations processing and solicitations
  • Assists the Executive Director in the preparation of proposals and helps tracks reports needed for grants and sponsorship requests
  • Prepares fundraising materials for website, donors, other external organizations and for social media placement
  • Assists the Executive Director in meetings with external partners and donors



Administrative/Finance:

  • Works with the external accountant and auditor to keep PAGA in compliance with all government accounting and financial requirements including BIR, tax filing, etc.
  • Keeps PAGA in compliance with all government requirements such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-ibig, etc.
  • Supports the Executive Director in maintaining PAGA’s DSWD license
  • Manages the office assistant
  • Responsible for filing and maintaining office documents to include invoices, processing of checks, reports and the like
  • Maintains office inventory and supplies, respond to inquiries
  • Coordinates Board of Trustees meetings and assists in preparing the documents needed for the meetings
  • Provides administrative and program support to the Executive Director, social workers, and Board of Trustees


External Communications/Social Media:

  • Provides program support and materials, such as invitations, for all external events
  • Regularly updates the social media pages of PAGA
  • Helps create and implements social media plan in conjunction with the PAGA team


Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in office administration, financial support, event planning, marketing, and social media in business and/or non-profit organizations
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
  • Ability to organize complex material and manage multiple projects at a time
  • Outgoing, energetic, flexible, resilient and proactive
  • Understands non-profit ideology
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Google Drive and good knowledge of Photoshop/Graphic Design
